Mallorie Burak joined Energous in January 2024 and serves as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer. She is an experienced financial executive, bringing almost 30 years of expertise across a broad spectrum of industries ranging from early-stage start-ups to multi-national, public corporations.
Prior to joining Energous, Ms. Burak served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Knightscope, Inc., an advanced public safety technology company, as Chief Financial Officer of ThinFilm Electronics ASA, an innovative solid-state lithium battery start-up, and as Chief Financial Officer of Alta Devices, Inc., a GaAs thin-film solar technology start-up.
Ms. Burak’s career history also includes serving as President and Chief Financial Officer at FriendFinder Networks, and Chief Financial Officer at each of Rainmaker Systems and FoodLink, and as Interim Chief Financial Officer of Southwall Technologies. Ms. Burak has extensive successful experience with public listings, ATM facilities, secondary offerings, debt, Reg A offerings (equity and debt), and in turning around special situation companies as well as significant experience leading and managing M&A related activities. Ms. Burak holds a BSBA and an MBA from San Jose State University.
Prior to ADI, Mr. Marino worked at NXP semiconductor, where he served as GM and Head of Product Line, Audio & Voice Solution Products, managing a global team responsible for R&D, marketing and applications, business development, system architecture and product definition. Prior to NXP, heheld senior product-related positions with Monolithic Power Systems, Texas Instruments, and Intersil.
Mr. Marino is an accomplished technology business leader and entrepreneur with more than 20 years expertise in hardware and software development. He is experienced in creating successful go-to-market strategies and strategic partnerships to drive growth and scale for global technology organizations.
Mr. Marino holds an MBA in Corporate Entrepreneurship, Marketing and General Management from the Franklin W. Olin School of Business at Babson College. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.
Basim Noori joined Energous in April 2026 and serves as the Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Noori is an accomplished engineering leader who has built high performance, cross functional teams and guided various technologies from concept through product launch. Mr. Noori leverages over 25 years of experience in electronics engineering, including more than 20 years in design, measurements and modeling. He brings deep technical leadership in semiconductors, RF, antennas, and mmWave systems. Mr. Noori holds an MSc. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Surrey (UK).
Gregory Sadikoff joined Energous in February 2024 and currently serves as the Company’s Chief Accounting Officer. He is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of professional experience spanning early-stage start-ups through large, complex organizations.
Prior to joining Energous, Gregory served as a Senior Finance Manager at Knightscope, Inc. for two years. Earlier in his career, he was a Controller at Compass Group, the nation’s largest family of foodservice and facilities services companies, where he spent four years supporting large-scale operations and complex financial reporting requirements.
Gregory brings extensive expertise in corporate accounting and financial operations, including SEC reporting, technical accounting and policy development, revenue recognition, internal controls and SOX compliance, audit management, financial close processes, and scaling accounting functions to support growth. He has deep experience partnering cross-functionally with finance, legal, operations, and external auditors to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of California.
Lisa Tamura joined Energous in May 2024 to lead the company’s Human Resources operations and oversee its people focused initiatives. She is adept at navigating complex organizational challenges, building trusted partnerships, and elevating workforce effectiveness.
Ms. Tamura brings 34 years of HR leadership experience, shaped by key roles at organizations including Knightscope, Allied Schools, and Cingular. Throughout her career, she has collaborated closely with executive teams to strengthen organizational structures, elevate workforce capabilities, and build scalable HR systems that align with and advance long-term business goals.
Over the past four years, Ms. Tamura has dedicated her expertise to the tech sector, helping innovative teams navigate growth, transformation, and changing operational demands.
Ms. Tamura has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
Pete Weinberg serves as the Company’s Chief of Staff and General Counsel. Mr. Weinberg’s illustrious career spans over three decades and various sectors including design/build construction, IT and communication technologies, semiconductor manufacturing, marketing, renewable energy, and security robotics. Prior to joining Energous, Mr. Weinberg served as General Counsel at Knightscope, Alta Devices, NEC Electronics America, and Takenaka USA Corp. Mr. Weinberg earned his JD at Fordham University Law School, and holds an M.A. and B.A. from New York University and Stony Brook University respectively. Mr. Weinberg is a member of the New York Bar and a California Registered In-House Counsel.
